THE STORY OF ROSEWOOD SUITES

Image

The property was originally constructed in 1910 as the railroad hotel, but when the Bonavista Line was not extended into Trinity proper, the building later became a two-family dwelling. Over the years it housed a general store, a hair salon, a bar, and an inn with guest rooms and a restaurant. We fell under the spell of Trinity years ago, then when we saw the property for sale in 2015 it captured our imagination. We obtained Heritage Status for the building with Heritage NL. Following extensive renovations by Southcott Award-winning Sweet Lumber (Glen Vokey, Linda Sweet, and crew), we opened Rosewood Suites in the summer of 2018. We look forward to your visit!
